The research activity of ISEA adopts an extended perspective of the Innovation concept, applied to the Services Sector, and considers the following fields:
The Technological Innovations

- Identify new modalities of service offers, generated by the introduction of technological innovations.
- The study about the use of the new technologies as support or promoter of the new value proposals, the innovations of organizational character, etc.
- The adjustment of the functionalities and benefits of the new technologies to the specific requirements of the Services Sector.
- The development of non-presential models for the provision of services and the joint of the relations with the clients (for example, Digital administration, e-Learning systems,…)
The Strategic Innovation
- Research about new models or formulations of businesses applicable to the sector of services as a result of the emergency of new tendencies in socioeconomic matter, technological development, enterprise competitiveness, legal regulation, etc.
The market innovations
- Definition of new scopes of activity derived from demographic changes, guidelines of consumption, segmentation of clients, etc.
- Sectorial diversification by means of the application or the adaptation of existing products and services in other sectors of activity.
The innovation in the proposal of value to the clients
- The development of products and services of innovating content.
- The generation of new service lines from the combination of modalities of services or already existing technical capacities in the companies.
The organizational innovations
- The study of the organizational adaptations and the development of the needed management capacities for the materialization of innovating business models or new identified value offers.
